During this time of distancing due to Covid-19 we have had to cancel most of our Children's Ministry activities for now.  But we are committed to helping families continue to grow in faith together so we have moved what we can to an online format.  We are sending materials for families with children via our Family and Children's Ministry Newsletter weekly.  This includes a video to watch and ways to engage children and adults in faith development together at home.

Now that we are open for worship again, all ages of children are welcome to full participate in any worship service at Mulberry St. UMC.  Nursery care is available for children who are in Kindergarten and below, we do ask that you register for nursery care when you register for worship each week.   Disposable worship packs with coloring pages, quiet activities and crayons will be supplied for all children who pre-register for the worship services.  These worship packs will continue past the restrictions of the pandemic, because all children can use them to participate in worship anytime.

We also want to be a resource to help your family grow in faith no matter the age or stage of your children, so please reach out if there is something that you need from our Children's Ministry team! Once we return to gathering together for Sunday School, we welcome children to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:45 on the 2nd floor as we gather to build a faith foundation to last forever.  Godly Play is our base curriculum and we divide into groups based on grade.

Additional activities are planned throughout the year to add to the faith life of each family including movie nights, Parents’ Night Out, Lock Ins, weekend retreats, Fall Festival, Easter Egg Hunt on Coleman Hill, and VBS.
