WORSHIP & PRAYER

December 3 - 5:30 pm - Fellowship Hall


Join us for Worship & Prayer on Wednesday, December 3 for a special Advent-themed service! Start your month with music, prayer and special activity stations as we prepare our hearts and minds for Christmas! You won't want o miss this one. We will meet at 5:30 for dinner, and the service begins at 6:15.

CHRISTMAS CAROLING

Sunday, December 7 - after Worship


Let's spread some holiday cheer! We will meet after Worship on December 7 and go over to PruittHealth Lakeside Nursing Home (formerly Eastside Nursing Home) to sing our favorite traditional carols with the residents. This fun annual tradition will be a joyful time sharing songs of the season with our community!


MACON OUTREACH COMMUNITY WORSHIP

Join us in worship with our brothers & sisters at Macon Outreach for a meaningful time of song and Scripture, followed by a special holiday meal downstairs in the Macon Outreach dining room. This is a beautiful time of being in community together!

The Ainsworth Choir presents this service of music & festivities! Come hear this celebration of the season featuring our incredible Ainsworth Choir, who will sing around the piano, evoking the feeling of gathering around as a family to sing our favorite carols.


CHILDREN'S NATIVITY

Sunday, December 21 - 11:00 am Sanctuary Worship


An annual tradition on the Fourth Sunday of Advent during our 11am Sanctuary Worship! Carols are sung by the congregation as our children present the nativity story to us. Contact Elisa Reece with questions.

THE LONGEST NIGHT LABYRINTH PRAYER WALK

Sunday, December 21 - 4-7 pm - MSUMC Courtyard


While Christmas often brings great joy, it can also bring sorrow, difficult memories, and melancholy - and that's ok! We will mark the longest night of the year with a special self-guided prayer walk through the labyrinth in the Mulberry courtyard. We will have lighted luminaries and options for guided prayers for pilgrims walking through the path. 

CHRISTMAS EVE

On Christmas Eve we celebrate the culmination of Advent, the season of expectant waiting and preparation, which is the birth of Christ our Lord. We hope you'll join us!


FAMILY-FRIENDLY SERVICE

"The ABCs of Christmas"

11:00 am in the Church Fellowship Hall


A service designed with children in mind! This kid-friendly, interactive service called "The ABCs of Christmas" invites all of us to be a part of the Christmas story for ourselves. We will have snacks, Christmas crafts, and activities before the service. Kids, come ready to sing (or make whatever other joyful noise you can!), dance, shout, and celebrate the greatest story ever told!

MUSIC OF THE SEASON

A church favorite! Come early for our 5:00 pm Candlelight service to hear sounds of the season played and sung by church members, musicians, and other local talent!
