HEARD SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

Please read the application description and requirements before filling out this form. Be sure to upload all required documents.

The Heard Scholarship has a rolling application that pays out each semester and requires renewal each semester of enrollment.

**Update - February 2025**

Due to the increase in requests for the Heard scholarship, the following changes have been made to the application process:

  • Applications for a Fall semester award must be submitted no later than July 15. The goal will be to notify applicants regarding awards by July 31.
  • Applications for a Spring semester award must be submitted no later than December 1. The goal will be to notify applicants regarding awards by December 15.
  • Scholarships are awarded on a semester-by-semester basis. To be re-considered, applicants must re-apply each semester of enrollment.
  • The amount of an individual award may fluctuate based on the number of approved applicants.

The Heard Scholarship Fund provides scholarships for persons pursuing Methodist ministry, whether seminary or doctoral studies. 

Applicants must fill out the online submission form and upload a registration bill or other enrollment verification document. Verification of Enrollment should be a document including the student's name, documentation verifying class enrollment or documentation of acceptance to the school the student plans to attend, and the total amount owed by the student. If you have multiple documents, please create a single document with multiple pages. This form must be completed each semester of enrollment.
