Everyone is welcome to worship at Mulberry! Whatever your ethnicity, age, gender or sexual orientation, you are welcome here. If you have deep faith or searching faith, you are welcome. If you are struggling with sin or moving on to perfection, you are welcome here. We are a proudly United Methodist congregation, and we believe that Christ invites to his table all who love him, who earnestly repent of their sins, and seek to be at peace with one another. You do not have to be a member of Mulberry - or any church - to worship and receive communion with us.
We offer Children's Church each Sunday during worship for a kid-friendly worship opportunity. Our children's church uses the Godly Play curriculum. Godly play is a tool through which your children can express their innermost curiosity and feelings about God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, the church and more. It is led from 11 am - 12 noon. Ushers can direct you to the classroom that they meet in before the service, and children are dismissed with a volunteer to Godly Play during the first hymn of the service. Kids in 4K through 5th grade are welcome to play and worship early at KidzPRAISE from 10:30 to 11 before the service as well.
The Mulberry parking lot has entrances on Mulberry Street and on New Street - from the parking lot, you can easily reach the Nursery entrance and the Atrium entrance on the backside of the church. There is also limited street parking that is free on Sundays.
You are welcome to come as you are! Worshippers in our 11 am Sanctuary worship do typically dress somewhat more formally - think Sunday best!
We have several Sunday School options for children, youth & adults at the 10:00 hour. Kids & Youth meet at 4:00 pm for Kids 4 Christ and Youth Group during the school year.
